I hope if you are curious, you look some up online, and maybe you'll find a new special that you never knew existed before............
Chet Vincent and the Big Bend: A Bio of Sorts
Chet Vincent and the Big Bend Court order served over twitterTwitter has been the fastest growing social network sites, which makes sense. It is designed to proliferate to and connect people in a way that social networking has not managed to do just yet. Now, you can let your closest friends and even your most casual acquaintances in on every aspect of your life. Now, a new wall has been breached. In the UK, a court order has been served over twitter. Apparently, an anonymous user has been posting "tweets" parodying a radio personality. The radio personality decided to put a stop to it, be instead of going through the normal channels at communication, decided to save time and money by tweeting the cease-and-desist order to him. One more reason California sucks... new vehicle glass regulationsCalifornia is rolling out a series of regulations that call for car manufacturers to produce cars with advanced glazed glass. This glass is designed to reflect much of the electromagnetic radiation from the sun, thereby reducing the need for air conditioning. While this sounds great, the technology is quite old and has already been tested in the private sector. Toyota attempted to employ this technology a few years ago from 1989 to 1994. The project was shelved because it also cut out parts of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum that includes the frequencies cell phones operate on, in addition to the ones used by GPS devices, garage door openers, and even ankle bracelets parolees wear. This wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a reasonable alternative. Certain manufacturers are calling for a processed glass that absorbs the energy from the sun rather than reflecting it. That would allow all these commonplace devices to operate unhindered. Air conditioning isn't offered in all the models affected, giving car manufacturers another reason to protest. The current proposed set of guidelines is open to public comment for now, with the final version going into publication at the end of this month. |
